Application and Maintenance of Dental Treatment Chairs
The machine that dental practitioners use daily, the "dental treatment chair," encounters such challenges during use. However, each machine has specific operating methods. Due to incorrect operations, equipment may sometimes experience common faults and require early reporting for repairs. Therefore, to reduce mechanical failures, it is essential to train and inform users to operate the equipment according to the specified standards. Let's learn about the application and maintenance of dental treatment chairs!
I. Usage Standards for Dental Treatment Chairs:
1. At the end of the workday, promptly turn off the main switch of the instrument cabinet and disconnect the power, gas, and water supply to the equipment (including the dental chair).
2. When the equipment is not in use for an extended period, it is necessary to disconnect the water, gas, and power supply, and remove any residual water and gas from the equipment.
3. The power supply must have reliable electrical connections.
II. Daily Maintenance of Dental Treatment Chairs
Note: Please turn off the entire equipment power supply before maintenance.
1. Cleaning:
a. It is recommended to use household detergent as a cleaning agent for the surface of the equipment. For frequently contacted areas, it is advisable to use alcohol solution or new cleaning solution for disinfection. (It is recommended to do this once every six months.)
b. It is recommended to use high-pressure and high-temperature disinfection for the three-use spray gun.
c. It is recommended to use glutaraldehyde disinfectant for strong and weak centrifuge tubes.
2. Carefully clean the sputum jar with a soft brush to keep it clean.
3. Maintenance of the filtration device
a. Regularly (recommended every three months) clean the air filter of the dental chair; every six months, drain the water inside the air filter to prevent water from entering the gas supply, which could affect the normal operation of the equipment. Loosen the screws at the bottom of the cup in a clockwise direction, and the water inside the cup will splash out. Then, tighten the screws at the bottom of the cup in the opposite direction.
b. Regularly (strongly recommended every three months) clean the water filter of the dental chair. During cleaning, remove the assembly screws, take off the bottom cap of the cup, remove the cup, take out the filter box, clean all parts, and reassemble and tighten in order to ensure a reliable seal.
c. Regularly clean the micro-filter (recommended every month). After removing the micro-filter oil circuit board, take out the filter, clean it, and reinstall it.
4. For the oral cavity lamp, when cleaning the lens of the oral cavity lamp, use lens paper or medical cotton, and do not use alcohol cotton or other organic solvent compounds.
5. Do not frequently run or lay flat the motor to avoid reducing the lifespan of the dental chair motor.
6. Regularly check whether the power plug protective sleeve is damaged and whether the power plug connection is good. If there are safety risks, have a professional technician replace it.
7. It is recommended that the hospital's professional maintenance personnel conduct a safety inspection of the distribution equipment every six months, specifically checking for leakage current and whether the grounding connection meets the requirements.
8. After the parts and the entire equipment of the dental treatment chair are damaged, it is recommended to handle them according to local laws and regulations.
