The working principle of a dental treatment chair and common issues. ### Working Principle of a Dental Treatment Chair A dental treatment chair is designed to provide comfort and accessibility for both the patient and the dentist during dental procedures. The main components and their functions include: 1. **Adjustable Positioning**: The chair can be adjusted in height and recline to allow the dentist to work at an optimal angle. This is crucial for ensuring the dentist's ergonomic posture and the patient's comfort. 2. **Integrated Equipment**: Most dental chairs come with built-in equipment such as lights, suction devices, and handpieces. This integration allows for efficient workflow during treatments. 3. **Control System**: The chair is typically controlled by a foot pedal or a hand-held remote, allowing the dentist to adjust the chair's position without interrupting the procedure. 4. **Comfort Features**: Many chairs are equipped with cushioning and upholstery designed to provide comfort during longer procedures, as well as armrests and headrests that can be adjusted. ### Common Issues with Dental Treatment Chairs 1. **Mechanical Failures**: Over time, the motors and hydraulic systems that control the chair's movements can fail, leading to difficulties in adjusting the chair. 2. **Electrical Problems**: Issues with the electrical components can cause the chair to become unresponsive or malfunction. 3. **Wear and Tear**: The upholstery may wear out, leading to tears or discomfort for patients. Regular maintenance is required to keep the chair in good condition. 4. **Suction System Blockages**: The integrated suction systems can become clogged, affecting their performance and requiring cleaning or replacement. 5. **Lighting Issues**: The dental light may malfunction, either becoming too dim or failing to turn on, which can hinder visibility during procedures. Regular maintenance and prompt repairs are essential to ensure the dental treatment chair functions effectively and provides a comfortable experience for patients.
Working Principle of Dental Treatment Chair and Common Issues Working Principle of Dental Treatment Chair: (1) Gas Control Main Valve and Water Control Main Valve: ① The gas control main valve and the water control main valve are operated by an air leakage switch. The working principle of both valves is the same. When the air leakage switch is turned on, the gas enters the oil circuit board and pushes the valve core. The gas pressure drives the valve core to open the sealing surface, allowing gas or water to pass through. Conversely, the control pneumatic valve is disconnected. The valve core returns to its position using spring force, disconnecting the pneumatic valve and the water supply.

(1) Gas control main valve and water control main valve: ① The gas control main valve and the water control main valve are operated by an air leakage switch. The working principle of the two valves is the same. When the air leakage switch is turned on, gas enters the oil circuit board and pushes the valve core. The gas pressure drives the valve core to open the sealing surface, allowing gas or water to pass through. Conversely, the control pneumatic valve is disconnected. The valve core returns to its position using spring force, disconnecting the pneumatic valve and water source. ② The pneumatic water pressure regulating valve relies entirely on the sealing pad and O-ring because the valve core is located in the oil circuit board, thus cooperating with the O-ring. During use, try to avoid gas and water residues entering the valve. Otherwise, it will become uncontrollable.
(2) Pressure regulating valve: Installed in the suction machine frame. In a resting state, the high-speed mobile, low-speed mobile, and saliva suction are all in the sound card frame. The protruding part of the valve seat is pressed into shape by the blade mobile rocker, causing the gas supply to shut off. When the mobile rocker is opened, gas will push the valve seat. At this time, press the button switch, and the mobile starts working. When the rocker is removed, the saliva suction starts to operate.

(1) Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the equipment and the accompanying written materials. If the operating instructions contradict safety production information, pay attention to the safety information. You may misunderstand the operating instructions. If you cannot resolve the contradiction, contact professional personnel for assistance.
(2) Please turn off the main power of the machine before maintaining and cleaning the equipment.
(3) Do not place the equipment on unstable surfaces, carts, or cabinets to avoid damage from the equipment collapsing.
(4) Do not place the equipment next to heat radiators and electric heaters.
(5) This equipment cannot be used in areas containing flammable anesthetic gases.
(6) Do not place or suspend objects in the equipment.
(7) Avoid using cables that do not meet the equipment standards; otherwise, performance may decrease, and it may even cause fire or electric shock.
(8) Do not insert other objects into the equipment through the casing or shell openings, as they may come into contact with dangerous voltage areas, potentially causing fire or electric shock. Do not let any liquids spill into the equipment.
(9) To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the equipment yourself. If maintenance is necessary, contact professional technical service personnel.
(10) Opening or removing the outer cover may expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks; improper installation may cause electric shock during the use of the machine.
