Analysis and Troubleshooting of Common Issues with Dental Chairs
Dental chairs are mainly used for the examination and treatment of oral surgery and dental diseases. Currently, the most commonly used type is the electric dental chair, which is divided into eight main parts. The base of the entire unit is fixed to the ground, and the base is connected to the upper part of the dental chair through a support frame. The movements of the dental chair are controlled by a switch on the backrest, and its working principle involves the switch activating the motor, which drives the transmission mechanism to move the corresponding components of the dental chair.
Dental chairMainly used for the examination and treatment of oral surgery and oral diseases, the most commonly used type is electric.Dental chairThe main structure is divided into eight parts. The base of the machine is fixed to the ground, and the base is connected to the upper part of the dental chair through a bracket. The movement of the dental chair is controlled by a switch on the backrest, and its working principle is to start the motor operation through the control switch, driving the transmission mechanism to move the corresponding parts of the dental chair. According to the needs of treatment, the dental chair can complete actions such as rising, descending, tilting, leaning, and resetting by manipulating the control switch button.Dental chairComplete and easy to operate, it simplifies the work of dentists and improves efficiency. It is an indispensable medical device for dental treatment. If used and maintained improperly, some faults often occur, such as weak needles and abnormal sounds. Below is a breakdown of these issues.
1、Dental chairWeak needle phenomenon: After stepping on the start pedal, the air pressure is normal, but the needle does not turn, or it turns but with abnormal sounds.(1)The reason for the needle not turning is that there are foreign objects in the mobile bearing or the bearing is severely worn, causing it to jam. The solution is to use mobile lubricating oil to help remove foreign objects or replace the bearing with a new one. It is important to note that the bearings should be replaced as a set and not mixed with old ones.(2)The weak needle turning accompanied by abnormal sounds generally has two situations: one is noise from the mobile head, caused by excessive wear of the bearing and shaking of the bearing group. The solution is to replace a set of bearings. The other is the blowing sound from the mobile end, caused by frequent bending and damage of the tail pipe interface during handling. Reconnect securely.
2When the needle is loose and rotates, the needle tip and needle body are not aligned on the same axis. A loose needle can cause "flying needles," and excessive shaking of the needle tip increases control difficulty. Both situations are very dangerous in oral treatment. If the needle is loose and the tip shakes too much, it cannot solve the problem of cleaning the needle holder and replacing the needle, and the turbine rotor needs to be replaced.
3Sometimes the hand drill does not produce water mist, or there is no mist when drilling. First, eliminate these two phenomena: if there is water but no mist, check whether the branch bronchus is securely connected along the airway; whether it is old or damaged; whether the spray port is blocked. If there is no water and mist, check the water path; check whether the water adjustment valve is intact and functioning normally; whether the branch pipe is detached, excessively bent, or broken; whether the mobile socket is blocked. If this is the case, please clear the blockage and replace damaged parts according to the maintenance procedure.
4、Dental chairThe hand drill may leak water at various connection points of the body. If the hand drill is not stuck, just fill or replace the lost and damaged sealing rings according to the model. If it has fallen, reshaping is needed, but it is difficult. Do not throw away valuable parts of discarded hand drills; they can save time and money at critical moments.
