How to design and create a dental chair that facilitates surgery?

Dental chairs are medical devices used for oral surgery and the examination and treatment of oral diseases. In recent years, as people have become increasingly concerned about oral health, more and more dental clinics have been established, and dental chairs, as the main dental equipment, have been continuously improved in both functionality and structure.

Dental chairs are medical devices used for oral surgery and the examination and treatment of oral diseases. In recent years, with the increasing attention to oral health, more and more dental clinics have been established, and the dental chair, as a major dental equipment, has been continuously improved in terms of functionality and structure.

For some on the marketdental chairs, some do not have footrests. For tall patients, the length of the chair is insufficient to affect the comfort of the patient during oral examinations. Some high-end dental chairs have footrests, but the length cannot be adjusted, making them inflexible to use. At the same time, when not in use, they can obstruct people's walking and easily trip someone. Additionally, traditional dental chairs are part of a comprehensive dental treatment machine along with the operating table and operating rack. However, in actual use, when doctors need to retrieve surgical tools or place gauze and medications, the distance from the chair is too far, which is not conducive to the smooth progress of the surgery. Therefore, this brings some impacts during use. Thus, we recommend using dental surgical chairs.

To address the shortcomings of existing technology, we propose a dental treatment chair. To achieve the above objectives, thedental chairsincludes a base, with the top surface of the base fixedly connected to an adjustable bracket. The outer surface of the end of the adjustable bracket away from the base is fixedly connected to a protective shell, and the top surface of the protective shell is welded with a support frame. One side of the top surface of the support frame is fixedly provided with a cushion, and both outer surfaces of the support frame are symmetrically provided with armrests. The outer surface of the end of the support frame away from the protective shell is fixedly connected to a footrest, and the outer surface of the side of the support frame away from the footrest is fixedly provided with a cushion, with a headrest fixedly provided on the outer surface close to the cushion. The side wall of the support frame away from the cushion is fixedly connected to an operation box, and one side of the outer surface of the support frame in the horizontal direction is clamped with a surgical light. One end of the footrest inside the support frame is fixedly connected to a sliding rod, and a tension spring is connected to the side wall of the sliding rod away from the footrest. The operation box has a fixed plate embedded in the side wall close to the support frame; the top surface of the operation box is provided with a circular groove. There is a groove at the end of the support frame close to the footrest, and one end of the tension spring away from the sliding rod is fixedly connected to the side wall of the groove; both ends of the sliding rod have a spherical structure, and the side walls of the groove are provided with sliding slots that slide fit with the spherical structure at both ends of the sliding rod, allowing the sliding rod to be slidably connected to the support frame through the sliding slots. The side wall of the support frame close to the footrest is provided with a through hole with the same diameter as the footrest, and one end of the footrest close to the support frame is in interference fit with the through hole, with the diameter of the through hole being smaller than the length of the sliding rod.

In summary, the abovedental chairsadvantages are: thedental chairsis equipped with a footrest, sliding rod, tension spring, and support frame. When the patient lies on the treatment chair, the feet can rest on the footrest, which is fixedly connected to the sliding rod. The sliding rod slides within the support frame and is connected to the tension spring, allowing the footrest to automatically adjust the length extending from the support frame according to the patient's leg length. With the provided operation box and fixed plate, the operation box is fixedly connected to the support frame through the fixed plate, allowing the operation box to store some medications and instruments needed for surgery, facilitating the doctor's use and contributing to the smooth progress of the surgery. It is better than traditional dental chairs.
